Surja Bala is dulQuer's new heroine

Mollywood will welcome one more new face to the industry with director Sameer Thahir's Neelakasham Pachakadal Chuvanna Bhoomi (NPCB). Manipuri actress Surja Bala will make her debut here as Dulquer Salmaan's love interest in the film.

NPCB, which has the North East as a prominent backdrop, will have Surja play a Nagaland student who comes to Kerala. "Assi, my character in the movie, comes to Kerala to study engineering under the North East quota. Kasi (played by Dulquer) and Assi, who are classmates, fall in love. But a few incidents that follow set Kasi and his friend Suni (played by Sunny Wayne) on a journey to Nagaland."
