ദുൽഖറിന്റെ പുതിയ ചിത്രം : 'സലാലാ മൊബൈൽസ്'

ദുൽഖർ സൽമാൻ നായകനാകുന്ന പുതിയ ചിത്രമാണ് 'സലാലാ മൊബൈൽസ്' ആന്റോ ജോസഫ്‌ ഫിലിം കമ്പനിയുടെ ബാനറിൽ ആന്റോ ജോസഫ്‌ നിർമ്മിക്കുന്ന ഈ ചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്നത് നവാഗതനായ ശരത് ഹരിദാസൻ ആണ്.

നിരവധി പരസ്യ ചിത്രങ്ങൾ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്തിട്ടുള്ള ശരത്തിന്റെ ആദ്യ ചലച്ചിത്ര സംരംഭം ആണിത്. 2010ൽ പ്രശസ്ത തമിഴ് സംവിധായകൻ ശങ്കർ നിർമ്മിച്ച 'ആനന്ദപുരത്ത്‌ വീട്' എന്ന തമിഴ് സിനിമയുടെ തിരക്കഥ എഴുതിയിരുന്നത് ശരത് ആണ്. 2010 സണ്‍ ടി.വി.യുടെ ബെസ്റ്റ്ത്രില്ലറിനുള്ള അവാര്‍ഡ്ചി ഈ ചിത്രത്തിനായിരുന്നു.

മമ്മൂട്ടി ആദ്യമായി അഭിനയിച്ച പരസ്യചിത്രം സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ആളെന്ന ക്രെഡിറ്റും ശരത് ഹരിദാസനാണ്. 2004ല്‍ കല്യാണ്‍ ജ്വല്ലറിക്കുവേണ്ടി ആയിരുന്നു ആ പരസ്യം.

ദുൽഖറിന്റെ ഒരു പുതിയ മുഖമായിരിക്കും 'സലാലാ മൊബൈൽസ്'എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ കാണാൻ കഴിയുക എന്ന് സംവിധായകൻ പറഞ്ഞു. കൂടാതെ ഇത് ഒരു മുഴുനീള എന്റർറ്റെയിനെറുമായിരിക്കും. ചിത്രത്തിന്റെ ക്യാമറ ചലിപ്പിക്കുന്നത് സതീഷ്‌ കുറുപ്പാണ്.

ABCD യുടെ ഡബ്ബിംഗ് പൂർത്തിയാക്കിയ ദുൽഖർ ഇപ്പോൾ അവധി ചെലവഴിക്കാൻ ദുബായിലേക്ക് പോയിരിക്കുകയാണ്. തിരിച്ചെത്തിയ ശേഷം സമീർ താഹിറിന്റെ 'നീലാകാശം പച്ചക്കടൽ ചുവന്ന ഭൂമി' യുടെ രണ്ടാം ഷെഡ്യൂൾ ദുൽഖർ പൂർത്തിയാക്കും . അതിനു ശേഷം അഴഗപ്പൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന 'പട്ടം പോലെ' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിലാവും ദുൽഖർ ജോയിൻ ചെയ്യുക. അതിനും ശേഷമാവും 'സലാലാ മൊബൈൽസ്' തുടങ്ങുക

ജൂണ്‍ 14 ന് ദുൽഖർ നായകനായ ABCD തിയേറ്ററുകളിൽ എത്തും. ജൂണ്‍ 20 നു ദുൽഖർ അഭിനയിച്ച '5 സുന്ദരികൾ' എന്ന ചിത്രവും റിലീസ് ചെയ്യും. ഈ ചിത്രത്തിൽ അമൽ നീരദ് സംവിധാനം ചെയ്യുന്ന 'കുള്ളന്റെ ഭാര്യ' എന്ന സെഗ്മെന്റിലാണ് ദുൽഖർ അഭിനയിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. മമ്മൂട്ടിയുടെ നായികയായി 'ഇമ്മാനുവേൽ' എന്ന ചിത്രത്തിൽ അഭിനയിച്ച റീനു മാത്യൂസ്‌ ആണ് ഇതിൽ ദുൽഖറിനൊടൊപ്പം.

Dulquer Salmaan to take on Suriya: TOI

The film industry is apparently looking forward to see how the three-film-old starkid's ABCD will withstand competition from K'wood superstar's Singam 2

Mollywood superstar Mammootty's son Dulquer Salmaan is known to not do every film that comes his way. Now, trade sources and industry insiders are waiting to see how the three-film-old Dulquer's American Born Confused Desi (ABCD) will fare, given that Kollywood superstar Suriya — who has a loyal fan following in Kerala —comes to theatres with his super cop avatar in Singam 2.

Buzz is that both the films will hit the screens on June 14. A trade source observes, "Dulquer has so far had an impressive run in Mollywood. He was wise enough to make his debut in a newcomer outing, Second Show, rather than flaunt an 'I'm a superstar son' clout. While the film didn't set cash registers ringing at the BO, the actor's choice of a debut was talked well of even by critics," he says, adding, "With his second signing, Usthad Hotel, Dulquer went on to prove that he has inherited not just his father's good looks, but his acting genes too. With his third film, Theevram, Dulquer simply underlined the fact that he could carry a film on his shoulders, even without being tagged as a superstar's son. However, if ABCD releases on the same day as Singam 2, it will prove to be a litmus test for Dulquer."

While Dulquer cannot claim to have many fans associations in his name, with his long standing in the industry, a loyal fan base in Kerala and superstardom to boot, looks like Suriya apparently has an edge. "Remember how die-hard Suriya fans in Kerala celebrated day one of his 7aum Arivu and the more recent Maattrraan? Cop acts have always interested the Malayali audience; and back in 2010 when Singam released, the way Suriya's character Durai Singam was lapped up actually accentuates the fact that the film's prequel wouldn't have any less a rousing reception in Kerala," points out an industry expert, on condition of anonymity. "While Dulquer's film might fare well in the long run, as of now, initial collections seem to tilt the scales in favour of Suriya."
